About tree removals

Some trees need to come down: they are dead, dangerous, damaging a structure or simply in the wrong place. Albert plans each removal around your house, fences, neighbours and garden, and takes the tree down in controlled sections where there is no room to fell it.

Where a permit is needed, he will tell you before any work starts and can help you apply.

Questions

Tree removals: common questions

Something else on your mind? Ask in the form below and Albert will get back to you.

Do I need a council permit to remove a tree?

Often, yes. Many Melbourne councils protect significant trees, native vegetation or trees above a certain size. Albert will check what applies to your property and help you apply if a permit is needed.

Can you remove a tree where there is limited space?

Yes. Where a tree cannot be felled in one piece, it is taken down in sections, with limbs lowered carefully away from buildings, fences and gardens.

Is the stump removed as well?

Not automatically. Stump grinding can be added to the same visit, or booked later. Just mention it when you ask for a quote.
