Questions
Hedge trimming: common questions
Something else on your mind? Ask in the form below and Albert will get back to you.
When is the best time to trim a hedge?
It depends on the plant, but most hedges respond well to a trim in late spring and again in late summer or autumn. Regular trims keep a hedge dense and easier to manage.
Can you reduce the height of a tall hedge?
Yes. Overgrown hedges can be brought down and back into shape, sometimes over more than one visit so the plants recover well.
